This bendi card is such a cool card to try-I love the hills that help this card stand up on it's own. Some of the dies I used are truck (Impression Obsession), clouds (Impression Obsession), grass (Frantic Stamper), hills (Frantic Stamper Stitched Scene Builders, or these), along with Cricut cuts and MFT banner dies. For more information on this card, visit me here.
Hi everyone, Cathie here with another masculine make.
My son is very fond of a certain wizard child that a lot of the kids are into, and after finding a book that he was really interested in reading he promptly asked for a book mark. After finding the perfect image that seemed to inspired by a certain wizard, I got to work and this is what I created.
And the Die Cut Divas challenge continues. I love sailing ships and who could resist this one. I used black card stock and copper paper from The Stamp Doctor. I love the look of the copper sail and embellishments. The die cut set is such fun to work with.

Hi everyone, welcome to a brand new month and brand new challenge here at Diecut Divas. This weekend in Australia we are celebrating Fathers Day so I thought this month it would be great to celebrate all the men and boys in our life. With that in mind the theme this month is Masculine/Men/ Boys. Our sponsor this month is Dies R Us an online shop specialising in Craft Dies. They are offering up a $10 gift certificate to the lucky winner and with free postage for US customers for all orders over $50 - you could pick up some good deals. The team today are showcasing many dies available from DiesRUs and for all the details head over to their personal blogs listed.
Hi there.... well the month is almost over. Just a couple more days to enter our "Anything Goes for August" challenge.
Today I have a Thinking of You card using the lovely Flower Power stamp and Die from Elizabeth Crafts
I stamped my flower and the centre onto some Canson XL Watercolour paper and used my Zig Clear Clean markers and a blender pen to colour. Once it dried, I cut it out with the matching dies. The background was made by masking off the edges of another piece of watercolour paper. I then sponged on some Oxide inks (Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Worn Lipstick), flicked on some water and some gold CTMH sparkle pen dots. My sentiment is from Hero Arts and has been clear embossed over black ink.
I know it's only September and too soon for sledding, but I thought this would make some boy happy, maybe some older boy whose birthday was near winter and he received the key to the car. Maybe? Whichever, I thought a blue and yellow card was the combo for me.
I die-cut the sled parts and used floss for the reins for the sled. I've pulled apart twine so it would fit in the holes too. Whatever you decide to use, use something, because there is a greater impact and enjoyment of the finished sled with some kind of reins.
